Terms and Conditions - Rod Stewart Gibson Guitar Competition
1. The Competition will be hosted via the Vice-Versa eCRM platform at [http://zaphod.uk.vvhp.net/vvreg/7760-318074] (the "Website") from Monday 2nd December 2013 at 10:00 GMT.
2. Closing date for entries is Monday 6th January 2013 at 23:59 GMT.
3. The competition is open to all citizens of the UK and Republic of Ireland except employees of Decca, a division of Universal Music Operations Limited ("Decca") and their associated, affiliated or subsidiary companies, and their families, agents, or anyone connected with this Competition.
4. Entry limited to one per person.
5. An eligible entrant must be an individual resident in the UK or Republic of Ireland and must submit by including their e-mail address. Entries may be rejected in the sole discretion of Decca.
6. Decca will not be liable for any failure of receipt of entries. Decca takes no responsibility for any entries that are lost, delayed, illegible, corrupted, damaged, incomplete or otherwise invalid. Further, Decca will not be liable for technical, hardware, or software failures of any kind or lost or unavailable network connections which may limit or prohibit an eligible entrant's ability to participate in the Competition.
7. Decca reserves the right, with or without cause, to exclude entrants and withhold prizes for violating any of these Terms and Conditions. Decca reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions. Any amendments will be published on the Website.
8. The prize consists of the Gibson Songwriter Deluxe Studio guitar (product details). There is one guitar available for one winner. The winner will be picked at random from all those who have entered the competition. The winner will be notified by confirmation email. The judges' decision is final and binding on the entrants.
9. Winners will be notified within 7 days of the competition closing date that they have won. There is no cash or other alternative to the prizes stated and the prizes are not transferable and no part or parts of the prize may be substituted for other benefits, items or additions.
10. All winners must acknowledge and confirm acceptance of prize within 3 days of confirmation email or their prize will be considered forfeit.
11. Uses of personal data received by Decca in the course of the competition are subject to the privacy policy found on the Website.
12. By entering the competition all entrants are deemed to have accepted and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
13. Decca reserves the right at any time to cancel, modify or supersede the competition (including altering prizes) if, in our sole discretion, a competition is not capable of being conducted as specified.
14. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall limit Decca's liability for death or personal injury caused by their employees or agents' negligence or for fraud.
15. If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
16. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
17. The promoter of this competition is Decca, a division of Universal Music Operations Limited, a company registered in England and Wales with number 0950138 whose registered office is at 364-366 Kensington High Street, London W14 8NS.
